Motorhome WiFi can now offer you a Low Profile 4G LTE MIMO Roof Mounted Antenna for your motorhome, panel van conversion, VW or caravan. The low profile antenna is a perfect solution for a tidy, fitted mobile broadband installation in a choice of white or black.

The new low profile antenna stands at 2.4 inches (62mm) and comes with 2 x 1m cables as standard (we can supply longer or shorter lengths depending on your requirement). The installation requires a 25mm hole to be drilled through the roof. Once the antenna is fitted, there is no need for any additional sikaflex or adhesive sealant. The product is totally self sealing.

Our 4G MIMO antenna is a dual polarised antenna housing two powerful passive antenna elements given the required standard for 4G LTE MIMO (Multiple Input, Multiple Output). Not only does the antenna cover all the European 4G LTE wavebands, but is fully backwards compatible to 3G and 2G signals as and when they are available.

The antenna maintains a high level of performance even when mounted on a non-metallic surface such as a coachbuilt motorhome or caravan.

If the intended device has two external antenna connectors, such as our 4G Huawei E5577, then you can utilise both connections. However, you can still use this antenna with a 3G device – you will just connect either one of the two cables.

Optional 4G Quick Mount

The 4G quick mount allows for a neat surface mount installation when it is not possible to hide the cables and regulated power supply behind a panel.

The top of the unit has 2 x SMA connectors for direct connection to the Roof Antenna. Where the mount is used directly below where the aerial is sited, this can be connected directly without any extension cables. Power is provided via a 5.5×2.1mm connection directly to unregulated 12v. A 20cm Fly-Lead is included.

On the underside of the unit there is a power switch with LED illumination, micro USB connector to power and charge the device and 2 x TS9 connections. On the front of the mount, there is a rubberised magnetic mount supplied, complete with ultra slim self-adhesive metal back for mounting on the reverse of your MiFi device. The Quick Mount is wall mounted with a 3m self-adhesive pad for a fast installation.

The Low Profile Antenna is intended to be positioned either directly above where you intend to mount your router internally or where the cable entry can be conveniently routed within the vehicle.

Bespoke Fitting Mount (included with the 4G Roof Antenna as standard)

Motorhome WiFi have created a bespoke fitting mount which means once the cables have been fed through your roof, the mounting plate screws in to place from inside your vehicle to make a tight, fully weatherproof seal.
