Changes to EuropaSIM Tariff

Please read this release in full before contacting us as there are special instructions included at the bottom of the page which will help us to assist you more effectively.

Today we were made aware of some changes affecting customers of EuropaSIM who’s SIM cards have not yet been activated. We had no knowledge of these changes before today and we have taken the decision to suspend all sales of EuropaSIM while we evaluate the new tariff to ensure we are offering our customers the best value.

We have been assured that all existing customers of EuropaSIM will continue to be able to access their existing tariff of 100Mb of data for €2.50 per day for the foreseeable future.

Customers who have purchased a EuropaSIM and who have not yet received their activation e-mail will no longer be able to access the advertised tariff of 100Mb of data for €2.50 per day.

EuropaSIM have replaced the tariff with immediate effect with the following:

Option 1:
Daily package for €3 (previously €2.50)
50 Mb Data – (previously 100Mb) and then charged at 83 cents per Mb thereafter.
50 SMS (11 cent per SMS thereafter)
50 minutes (25 outgoing to the EU zone and 25 incoming)

Option 2 – excellent value for high data users. 
€6 for 150 MB per day ( APN:
After 150 MB per day: 1 MB cost 1 € (in 100 KB units)
This tariff is valid in following 33 countries (click here for the full list and to read the tariff in full)

What to do if you have not received your activation.
We are disappointed that these changes have been imposed on us and our customers and have taken the decision to allow those customers whose SIM cards have not yet been activated to return them to us for a full refund if they wish.

If you purchased hardware from us (eg a Dongle or MiFi device) then you can choose to either return the whole package to us or to return the SIM card only for a refund of £29.99. Your hardware will be unlocked to all networks, so will work fine with a SIM card from another network provider. If you choose to return the hardware it must be boxed in good condition with all original accessories.

What to do if you’re not sure if you are affected 
Please contact us enclosing the information below and state that you would like us to check the status of your tariff.

Process of obtaining a refund:

Please e-mail us using with the following information (you may like to copy and paste this into an e-mail).

SIM Card Number: Printed on the reverse, most likely beginning 86
Activation Name: The name on the passport of ID card you sent us to activate your SIM
Purchase Location: If you ordered online, or at a show.
Package Taken: Please specify SIM only, or if you took a dongle or MiFi device.
Refund Option (if taken a package): Please tell us if you also wish to return the dongle or MiFi device to us.

We will aim to get back to you within 2 working days. We will then send you instructions on returning your SIM card for a refund.
