  • ads/user-lists/# – Google AdWords – Privacy Policy – Used by Google AdWords to generate statistical data on how the visitor uses the website
  • NID – Google AdWords – Privacy Policy – Registers a unique ID that identifies a returning user’s device. The ID is used for targeted ads.
  • PREF – Google AdWords – Privacy Policy – Registers a unique ID that is used by Google to keep statistics of how the visitor uses YouTube videos across different websites.
  • VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE – Google – Privacy Policy – Tries to estimate the users’ bandwidth on pages with integrated YouTube videos.
  • YSC – Google – Privacy Policy – Registers a unique ID to keep statistics of what videos from YouTube the user has seen.
  • hubspotutkPrivacy Policy – This is used for Hubspot, our CRM, to work correctly.

Disabling these cookies will likely break the functions offered by these third parties

Anonymous Visitor Statistics Cookies

We use cookies to compile visitor statistics such as how many people have visited our website, what type of technology they are using (e.g. Mac or Windows which helps to identify when our site isn’t working as it should for particular technologies), how long they spend on the site, what page they look at etc. This helps us to continuously improve our website. These so called “analytics” programs also tell us if , on an anonymous basis, how people reached this site (e.g. from a search engine) and whether they have been here before helping us to put more money into developing our services for you instead of marketing spend.

  • _gat – Google Analytics – Privacy Policy – Used by Google Analytics to throttle request rate
  • _gid – Google Analytics – Privacy Policy – Registers a unique ID that is used to generate statistical data on how the visitor uses the website.
  • collect – Google Analytics – Privacy Policy – Used to send data to Google Analytics about the visitor’s device and behaviour. Tracks the visitor across devices and marketing channels.
  • IDE – Google Analytics – Used by Google DoubleClick to register and report the website user’s actions after viewing or clicking one of the advertiser’s ads with the purpose of measuring the efficacy of an ad and to present targeted ads to the user.

 

Turning Cookies Off

You can usually switch cookies off by adjusting your browser settings to stop it from accepting cookies (Learn how here). Doing so however will likely limit the functionality of our’s and a large proportion of the world’s websites as cookies are a standard part of most modern websites

It may be that you concerns around cookies relate to so called “spyware”. Rather than switching off cookies in your browser you may find that anti-spyware software achieves the same objective by automatically deleting cookies considered to be invasive.
